I live in western Montana, and you'd think it would have been cold here for Christmas, but nope. We were in the upper 30s, and half of the snow on the valley floor has melted!
Wow, that is warm for Montana this time of year. Took a look at Your Cool Yule! art, it reminds me of Lucia.
Christmas day was windy and we had a little rain, but not bad for the coast. We didn't have dinner until 10pm because the frozen turkey I put into the fridge on THURSDAY was still frozen. It was one of those moments like, "Should I laugh or cry." So, made macaroni and cheese and had dessert first while the bird roasted. Today the leftovers were perfect.
Mother of one homeschooled daughter. We live next door to her father. Currently co-parenting, not married. I helped with caregiving for grandma who had Alzheimer's. Mostly crunchy and working on getting better about my footprint on the earth. Breastfeeding and domestic violence advocate. I enjoy bargain hunting and bartering!
