Family Alive and Well
Found out from one of my aunts in Mississippi that my uncle and his family are alive and well in Louisiana. They live in a suburb outside of New Orleans but were not flooded. Their home is intact and they have only had to deal with the loss of city services since the hurricane. All family in Mississippi, which include my mother and grandmother, are all fine. They only had to clean-up storm debris and deal with iffy electrical service for about a week. I pray that all those who are still searching for loved ones get some news soon. Many thanks to all who have helped and are working to help those affected by Katrina. I'm very grateful for my family's well-being.
